Health Justice


Helping healthcare and public health organizations center anti-racism and equity in the workplace and reduce health inequities in the communities they serve.

Health Justice is an intersectional organization who consults with healthcare professionals centering anti-racism in their practice. The approach is to decrease healthcare inequities across the healthcare fields and increase public wellness.

Dr. Oni Blackstock is the founder and Executive Director of Health Justice. Dr. Blackstock is the winner of numerous awards, and is a primary care and HIV physician in New York City. The first Bureau-based Racial Health Equity Program at the NYC Health Department was created by Dr. Blackstock.

Dr. Blackstock worked directly in the height of the HIV pandemic with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and holds degrees from Harvard College, Harvard Medical School, and Yale School of Medicine.
